The employee shall inform their supervisor of their grievance within ten (10) days after the employee knew, or in the exercise of reasonable diligence should have known, of the events giving rise to the grievance. Failure to complete this procedure will bar further consideration of the grievance.

The supervisor shall, within five (5) days after receipt of the grievance, have a discussion with the employee concerning the grievance. 3. The supervisor shall, within five (5) days of the discussion, render a verbal decision to the employee.
