Step Three - Superintendent. If the grievant is not satisfied with the answer given in Step 2, he shall, within seven (7) calendar days of receipt of the answer, forward the grievance to the Superintendent or her designee when the Superintendent is unavailable due to vacation, illness or leave of absence. The Superintendent or her designee will, upon request, hold a hearing with the grievant and the Union representative within twelve (12) calendar days of the request and submit a written answer to the grievant within seven (7) calendar days of the hearing or receipt of the grievance if no hearing is requested. The grievance may not be amended after this level.
