Common use of Step Three - Superintendent Clause in Contracts

Step Three - Superintendent. If the answer at Step Two is not satisfactory, the grievance and previous answers shall be forwarded to the Superintendent of Schools within seven (7) work days of receipt of the Step Two answer. Within seven (7) work days of receipt of the grievance and answers, the Superintendent and/or his/her designee(s) shall meet with the aggrieved employee(s) and the Association representative(s) in an effort to resolve the grievance. If not resolved at such meeting, the Superintendent of Schools or his/her designee shall give a written answer to the grievance, in duplicate, within seven (7) work days after the meeting.

Within seven (7) work working days of receipt of the grievance and answers, the Superintendent and/or his/her designee(s) designee shall meet with the aggrieved employee(s) employee, the Union Field Representative and the Association representative(s) a Unit officer in an effort to resolve the grievance. If not resolved at such a meeting, the Superintendent of Schools or his/her designee shall give a written answer to the grievance, in duplicate, within seven (7) work working days after the meeting.
