Common use of Step Two Clause in Contracts

Step Two. The grievance shall be reduced to writing by: (1) recording the grievance on the appropriate grievance form, setting out the nature of the grievance and the circumstances from which it arose; (2) stating the article or articles of the Agreement infringed upon or alleged to have been violated and the remedy or correction required; (3) the grievance shall be signed by the employee and a Shop Xxxxxxx or Union Committee member; (4) the supervisor shall acknowledge receipt of the written griev- ance by signing and dating the grievance form at the time the grievance is presented; and (5) within seven (7) calendar days of receipt of the written griev- ance, the supervisor or the department head shall give her/his written reply. If the grievance is not settled at this step, then:

Step Two. If the grievance griev- ance is not settled at this step, then:
