Storage/Layoff. An Employee who has been temporarily laid off for a period of up to two (2) weeks can choose to leave his tools in the Company’s premises during the layoff and the tools will continue to be covered by the tool insurance during this period. In the event that an Employee chooses this option, it is the Employee’s responsibility to ensure that he advises his supervisor of his decision and the Company has on file a current copy of his tool list. The Employee must also insure that the tools are left in locked containers provided by him.
