Common use of STRIKE/LOCKOUT Clause in Contracts

STRIKE/LOCKOUT. 9-1.01 During the term of this Agreement, the Parties agree to comply fully with the procedures set out in this Agreement and the Canada Labour Code with respect to the peaceful settlement of disputes. Except as otherwise permitted by law, the Union, including its officers and representatives, will not engage in, promote, or cause any strike, or work stoppage at the Company in accordance with the Canada Labour Code.
