Clad beams with 2 layers of 12.5mm thick plasterboard or equivalent materials to provide 30 minutes fire resistance. Solid Floor to Extension: The new floor to be constructed as detailed in drawings/specifications. 100mm thick clean crushed hardcore base, 50mm weak concrete binding, Visqueen damp proof membrane, 200mm laps, dressed up walls 150mm and lapped with wall DPC, 70mm thick Celotex p.u. insulation slabs, 70mm thick cement screed incorporating chicken mesh reinforcement. External Doors and Windows / Ventilation: Supply and install x3 UPVC windows and x2 UPVC doors with K Glass, as specified in drawings. Supply and install x1 replacement window to existing first floor Bedroom and x1 replacement window to ground floor front existing extension. Units to be double-glazed and sealed (to match existing as close as possible). Natural ventilation to all rooms by means of opening windows, not less than 1/20 of floor area, additionally all windows fitted with trickle vents. Internal Doors / Carpentry: Supply and install x4 standard internal doors and standard brass fittings. Supply and fit architraves and 5-inch skirting boards in new building areas. All new internal doors, architraves and frames to match existing (as close as possible), subject to client's approval.
