Student Evaluation of Instructors and Counselors. 401 Student evaluation shall be a part of a faculty member’s evaluation. When evaluating faculty members who teach more than one class, the faculty member shall be entitled to select one class for student evaluation and the immediate supervisor(s) shall select one class. A counselor will be evaluated by a random number of students who have been counseled by the faculty member.

Student Evaluation of Instructors and Counselors. (a) The appropriate administrator or a designee will conduct the student evaluations using the negotiated form found in Appendix E. (b) Student narrative comments on the official form or card are typed to preserve anonymity, and then given to the unit member. Identical response may be tabulated and not retyped. No additional copies are made. (c) Student evaluation cards should be retained by the division until the end of the semester in which the evaluation is given. 6.9.2 Student evaluations of unit members of ABE/ESL, Older Adult and Special Education classes shall be administered at the unit member’s or district’s option. Students enrolled in open-entry/open-exit classes fewer than three (3) weeks will not participate in the student evaluation; the evaluator and unit member shall determine which students are not to complete the evaluation form.

When evaluating faculty members who teach more than one class, the faculty member shall be entitled to select one class for student evaluation and the immediate supervisor(s) shall select one class. 4.4.2 A counselor will be evaluated by a random number of students who have been counseled by the faculty member. 4.4.3 Subsequent student evaluations may be conducted in accordance with 4.4.1 above if the immediate supervisor(s) is conducting a subsequent evaluation under 4.2.1, 4.2.2, and 4.2.3. 4.4.4 Student evaluations shall not become the sole basis for any administrative decision to evaluate, terminate, deny tenure, discipline or transfer a faculty member. 4.4.5 Student evaluation form(s) shall be mutually agreed upon by the District and the Association and shall become a part of this Agreement. A narrative form may be substituted for the Scantron response form. The narrative form will be limited for use by 50% of the tenured faculty within a division/department.

  • MANAGEMENT OF EVALUATION OUTCOMES 12.1 Where the Employer is, any time during the Employee’s employment, not satisfied with the Employee’s performance with respect to any matter dealt with in this Agreement, the Employer will give notice to the Employee to attend a meeting; 12.2 The Employee will have the opportunity at the meeting to satisfy the Employer of the measures being taken to ensure that his performance becomes satisfactory and any programme, including any dates, for implementing these measures; 12.3 Where there is a dispute or difference as to the performance of the Employee under this Agreement, the Parties will confer with a view to resolving the dispute or difference; and 12.4 In the case of unacceptable performance, the Employer shall – 12.4.1 Provide systematic remedial or developmental support to assist the Employee to improve his performance; and 12.4.2 After appropriate performance counselling and having provided the necessary guidance and/or support as well as reasonable time for improvement in performance, the Employer may consider steps to terminate the contract of employment of the Employee on grounds of unfitness or incapacity to carry out his or her duties.

  • Promotion and Protection of Investment (1) Each Contracting Party shall encourage and create favourable conditions for investors of the other Contracting Party to make investments in its territory, and admit such investments in accordance with its laws and policy. To achieve the objectives of the Article 149 (Objectives), the Parties may focus, as a means of cooperation and negotiations on concluding a bilateral agreement on forestry cooperation between the two Parties. Such collaboration will be as follows: (a) exchanges on science and technology as well as policies and laws relating the sustainable use of forest resources; (b) cooperation in training programs, internships, exchange of experts and projects advisory; (c) advice and technical assistance to public institutions and organizations of the Parties on sustainable use of forest resources and environmental protection; (d) facilitating forest policy dialogue and technical cooperation under the Network of Sustainable Forest Management and Forest Rehabilitation in Asia- Pacific Region, initiated at the 15th Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Meeting; (e) encouraging joint studies, working visits, exchange of experiences, among others; and (f) others activities mutually agreed.

  • Promotion and Protection of Investments 1. Each Contracting Party shall in accordance with its laws and regulations promote, create favorable conditions for investments by investors of the other Contracting Party and admit such investments. 2. Each Contracting Parly shall at all times accord in its territory to investments of investors of the other Contracting Party fair and equitable treatment and full and constant protection and security. 3. Each Contracting Party shall not impair by unreasonable, arbitrary or discriminatory measures the management, maintenance, use, enjoyment, acquisition or disposal of investments in its territory of investors of the other Contracting Xxxxx.

  • Opinion of General Counsel of the Company The General Counsel of the Company, shall have furnished to the Representatives, at the request of the Company, a written opinion, dated the Closing Date and addressed to the Underwriters, in form and substance reasonably satisfactory to the Representatives and substantially in the form previously agreed by the parties hereto.

  • Verification of Coverage Prior to beginning any work under this Agreement, Consultant shall furnish City with certificates of insurance and with original endorsements effecting coverage required herein. The certificates and endorsements for each insurance policy are to be signed by a person authorized by that insurer to bind coverage on its behalf. The City reserves the right to require complete, certified copies of all required insurance policies at any time.

  • Separation of Insureds All liability policies shall provide cross-liability coverage as would be afforded by the standard ISO (Insurance Services Office, Inc.) separation of insureds provision with no insured versus insured exclusions or limitations.
