Subrecipient/Department Relationship Sample Clauses

Subrecipient/Department Relationship. Subrecipient understands and agrees, in entering into this Agreement, that it serves as an independent subrecipient and not as an employee of the Department. The Parties intend no employer/employee relationship. Subrecipient agrees that the Department shall withhold no taxes from payments, and the Subrecipient shall assume sole and entire responsibility for payment of its taxes. Subrecipient further agrees to provide its own Workers’ Compensation coverage.
