Substantial variation to rosters. Any proposal, and decision, by the Employer to substantially vary existing roster patterns shall be subject to prior consultation with directly affected employees and Unite representative. Following consultation, the Employer will have ultimate discretion as to whether or not to substantially vary roster patterns (this reflects the Employer’s need for flexibility required by the nature of the airline industry and changing operational requirements).
