Work from Home. The following applies when a Producer requires an employee to work remotely from home:
a. If an employee does not have equipment necessary to work remotely from home and the Producer does not provide such equipment, the employee shall submit a request to the Producer for purchase of the necessary equipment. Producer shall reimburse the employee for any pre-approved purchases after the employee submits receipts or other appropriate proof of purchase.
b. Producer shall provide an employee with any technology training that it determines is necessary in order for the employee to work remotely from home.
c. Producer shall reimburse any necessary and reasonable costs that an employee incurs as a direct consequence of working remotely from home, provided that the Producer has approved such expenses in advance and the employee submits appropriate proof of the expense.
Work from Home. With approval of the supervisor as defined in Section 1.06 an Employee may work from home and count those hours as on-campus hours as defined in Section 7.13.
Work from Home. No member of the bargaining unit shall be assigned by the District to work from home for any portion of their assigned workday. However, nothing herein precludes a member of the bargaining unit from voluntarily performing work-related tasks from her/his home as long as such tasks are not established as conditions of employment by the employer. The Association agrees that it will not in any way impose or imply any limitations on tasks the member of the bargaining unit chooses to do of her/his own volition.
Work from Home. The Employee may work from home for a maximum of three (3) days per week with the prior approval of the Superintendent.
Work from Home. It is agreed and understood that all members of the bargaining unit will normally perform their duties in person at the public library. If the public library is closed due to unforeseen circumstances and for an extended period, then the Town may require members of the bargaining unit to temporarily perform their duties from home. The Town agrees to provide employees with the appropriate and necessary technology to work from home.
Work from Home. The College will notify the Union of any work at home arrangements that it enters into with employees. APPENDIX I
1. Basic Conditions
a. Application of the compressed work week nine-day fortnight system must not produce any additional cost, (i.e. overtime, additional staffing requirements or fringe benefit costs) or noticeable reduction in service from the level of service rendered at the effective date of this Letter of Understanding April 1, 2004.
Work from Home. Employees answering calls while on-call from home and performing work at home shall be compensated at the appropriate rate of pay (including overtime, shift differential and/or any other applicable compensation) for the following minimum time periods:
Work from Home. The College will notify the Union of any work at home arrangements that it enters into with employees.
Work from Home. Overtime exempt employees who are assigned to work from home on an SDO for periods in excess of two hours shall be compensated with Comp Time (at the rate of 1.5 hours of Comp Time for each hour worked) in half-hour increments, up to a total of 7 hours of total Comp Time (one full day off with pay) in a single day.
Work from Home. 29.1 The work from home environment as of the ratification of this agreement shall remain in place until the Company provides a physical office space that can accommodate all Employees. Should the Employer provide such space, any mandatory return to office policies would be subject to negotiations with the Guild.
29.2 Employees with advance approval from their supervisor, shall continue to have the right to work hybrid, remote or other flexible work schedules presuming all work can be performed adequately. Editors may require employees, for staff meetings, breaking news, or other news events to work from the office or the field.
29.3 During any period in which the Editor requires or authorizes an employee to work the majority of their schedule from home on a long-term basis, the Editor shall provide a monthly stipend of at least $50 subject to applicable taxes and withholdings. This payment is not intended to be a complete representation of all of an employee’s expenses and shall not preclude employees from filing for pre-approved expense reimbursements for work-related items.
29.4 Any employee may object to working from the office on health and safety grounds, without fear of retribution. The company will work with the employee to see if they can reasonably accommodate their concerns or grant them permission to work from home, assuming their work can be performed adequately.
29.5 The Company shall provide equipment for employees to safely work from home. This equipment includes but is not limited to computers and software, cell phones with an activated hot spot, note pads, photo equipment and supplies.
29.6 This provision is intended to replace and supersede any other prior agreements outside of this Agreement regarding stipend and other benefits related to remote work.
