Substitute/Occasional Employees. Except where otherwise specifically provided by in this Contract, the conditions of employment and compensation for substitute/occasional employees shall be as stipulated by the Board at the time of employment or as modified subsequently by mutual understanding between the Board and the employee. When a substitute employee has been assigned to one specific position for a period of sixty days, that employee then becomes a Long Term Substitute, on the sixty-first day.

  • Provisional Employees A second year Provisional classroom teacher who receives a summative rating of 3- Proficient or 4- Distinguished may be granted continuing contract status for the subsequent school year at the district’s discretion.
