Common use of Summative Evaluation Clause in Contracts

Summative Evaluation. Evaluations shall be completed by May 1 and a written copy provided to members no later than May 10. Each evaluation will result in an effectiveness rating of “Accomplished,” “Skilled,” “Developing,” or “Ineffective.” An effectiveness rating is based on a combination of informal and formal observations and supporting evidence using the Teacher Performance Evaluation Rubric. A member’s summative evaluation shall be determined by using the Ohio Department of Education framework in effect at the time of the evaluation.
