Supplementation of Disability Indemnity Payments. 210. An employee who is absent because of an occupational disability and who is receiving Temporary Disability, Vocational Rehabilitation Maintenance Allowance, or State Disability Insurance, may request that the amount of disability indemnity payment be supplemented with salary to be charged against the employee’s accumulated unused sick leave with pay credit balance at the time of disability, compensatory time, or vacation, so as to equal the normal salary the employee would have earned for the regular work schedule. Use of compensatory time requires the employee’s appointing officer’s approval.
