Maintenance Allowance. (A) In the first regular check following the first pay period of each year, an employee who customarily wears a uniform while working shall receive a maintenance allowance of $1,175.00 each calendar year, except that recruits who have not completed twelve (12) months employment by a given January 1st shall be paid a pro-rated uniform maintenance allowance. (B) In the first regular check following the first pay period of each year, any employee who is regularly required by the Fire Chief to wear plainclothes while working shall receive a plainclothes maintenance allowance of (C) In determining who is eligible to receive the allowance in (A) or (B) above, the amount shall be decided by what assignment the employee is in as of January 1 of each year.

Maintenance Allowance. Each full-time employee shall, in addition to the above, receive an annual maintenance allowance of Four Hundred Fifty Dollars ($450.00) per year for cleaning of such uniforms. Maintenance allowance shall be issued to the employee and distributed by the Chief of Police or his designee in equal amounts on April 15th and October 15th of each year.

Maintenance Allowance. (a) Employees who are engaged to drive and operate plant and equipment and who are required, by Council, to carry out routine maintenance and/or running repairs, will be entitled to a Maintenance Allowance.
