Maintenance Allowance. (A) In the first regular check following the first pay period of each year, an employee who customarily wears a uniform while working shall receive a maintenance allowance of $1,175.00 each calendar year, except that recruits who have not completed twelve (12) months employment by a given January 1st shall be paid a pro-rated uniform maintenance allowance. (B) In the first regular check following the first pay period of each year, any employee who is regularly required by the Fire Chief to wear plainclothes while working shall receive a plainclothes maintenance allowance of (C) In determining who is eligible to receive the allowance in (A) or (B) above, the amount shall be decided by what assignment the employee is in as of January 1 of each year.

Maintenance Allowance. Each full-time employee shall, in addition to the above, receive an annual maintenance allowance of Four Hundred Fifty Dollars ($450.00) per year for cleaning of such uniforms. Maintenance allowance shall be issued to the employee and distributed by the Chief of Police or his designee in equal amounts on April 15th and October 15th of each year.

(B) During the first payperiod of each year, beginning December 9, 2014, any member who customarily wears a uniform while working shall receive a maintenance allowance of $1,175.00. (C) During the first payperiod of each year, beginning December 9, 2014, any member who customarily wears plainclothes while working shall receive plainclothes and maintenance allowance of $1,525.00. (D) In determining who is eligible to receive the allowance in (B) or (C) above, the amount shall be decided by what assignment the member is in as of January 1 of each year.

Maintenance Allowance. A. Effective July 1, 2015, and annually thereafter, each officer in active duty as of July 1 each year shall be entitled to an annual clothing maintenance allowance of $600 and each plainclothes officer in active duty as of July 1 of each year shall receive an annual clothing allowance of $500. Payments made in accordance with this Section shall be received no later than October 1 of each fiscal year.

Maintenance Allowance. 1. Each Flight Attendant will be paid a uniform maintenance allowance of $22 per month. 2. A Flight Attendant must be active in the month in order to be paid the uniform maintenance allowance.

Employees are required to reasonably care for any uniforms issued, and they may launder such uniforms through machines provided on the Employer’s premises.

Maintenance Allowance. (a) Employees who are engaged to drive and operate plant and equipment and who are required, by Council, to carry out routine maintenance and/or running repairs, will be entitled to a Maintenance Allowance. (b) The allowance may be paid as a weekly or daily allowance as appropriate. The daily rate will be one fifth of the weekly allowance up to the maximum of the weekly allowance. (c) Plant and equipment which will attract the Maintenance Allowance include: I. Sludge/auto-educator II. Mechanical street sweeper III. Road/cleansing machine IV. Water flusher V. Excavator
