Supply Teaching While on Leave. Teachers who are on a Board approved Leave of Absence should gain approval from the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Board prior to initiating any supply teaching in Ontario for pay during the leave. If the Teacher intends to buy back credit for the Board approved leave, supply teaching will cause OTPP problems.
