Common use of Suspensions Pending Investigation Clause in Contracts

Suspensions Pending Investigation. A suspension pending 2 investigation shall be paid until the investigation is complete and a determination 3 of the appropriate discipline is made for investigations resulting from an 4 allegation of serious misconduct that involves compromising patient or work 5 place safety and that has been communicated to the nurse and the Association, 6 provided that such investigation and report is completed within a seven calendar 7 day period. This seven-calendar day period shall be extended, if the nurse is 8 unavailable to meet with the Agency within this time period, until such meeting 9 takes place. Any nurse on suspension shall have the right to be informed of the 10 general nature of the investigation, and shall receive notice of the status of the 11 Agency’s investigation on a weekly basis.

Any nurse on suspension shall have the right to be 5 informed of the 10 general nature of the investigation, and shall receive notice of the status of the 11 Agency’s investigation on a weekly basis.the
