Taking sick leave. (a) A teacher, other than a short-term reliever, who has sick leave entitlement available under clause 4.1.1 or, from 28 January 2024, clause 4.1.2, can take sick leave on pay when they are absent because they are sick or injured or the teacher’s spouse, partner, or someone dependent on the teacher for care is sick or injured.
