Common use of Task Order Change Clause in Contracts

Task Order Change. If, after execution of a Task Order and commencement on the Work Project, additions, deletions or modifications to the Work described in the Task Order, along with any associated changes in the Work Project Amount, are required by the City or are requested by the Design Consultant and approved in advance by the Executive Director, a Task Order Change, in substantially the form as set forth in Exhibit D attached to this Agreement and incorporated herein by reference, may be issued in accordance to the same standards and procedures prescribed for Task Orders. The Design Consultant shall promptly and thoroughly review and respond to the proposed changes, in accordance with the same standards and procedures prescribed for Task Orders, and notify the Project Manager that the Design Consultant is ready and willing to perform the Work Project in the manner and timeframes as modified by the Task Order Change. The City will not execute the Task Order Change unless any material changes proposed by the Design Consultant to the terms of the issued Task Order and/or additions to the Work Project Amount are deemed acceptable by the Executive Director and incorporated into the Task Order Change and until funding adequate to cover the entire Work Project Amount, if modified, is available.
