Tasks and activities of the Renault Group Works Council. The Renault Group Works Council is a transnational information and labour relations body for the entire Group. This information and these labour relations concern the group's strategic policies and its key developments in economic, commercial, financial, social, societal and environmental areas. As the sole representative body for all the employees worldwide, the Renault Group Works Council can meet in several configurations: The Renault Group Works Council meets each year as the World Group Works Council. It is composed of representatives from executive management and all of the full members of the represented countries. During this annual plenary session, executive management discusses with employee representatives the situation and strategic policies of the group, as well as the outlook for the coming years. The meeting for monitoring the global framework agreement follows this plenary session. The Renault Group Works Council can also meet in a European configuration which then takes the form of a European Group Works Council or an extraordinary session of the Restricted Group Works Council. It is then an information and consultation body: − Management provides information by sending data to members of the council, to enable them to learn about the subject on the agenda. It is done at any time, in a way and with suitable content that enable members of the council to make an assessment of the probable impact of the planned decision and to prepare a consultation, where applicable. − Consultation means the establishment of a dialogue and exchange of views between members of the council and management representatives. It is done in a way and with a content that enable members of the council to express, at the end of a consultation session, on the basis of the information provided, an opinion concerning the proposed measures that could be taken into account in the decision-making process, according to the 2009/38 directive. − The Restricted Group Works Council includes representatives of executive management, the secretary and ten deputy secretaries. It meets several times a year, depending on company events. − Lastly, the Renault Group Works Council takes up the tasks of the France Group Works Council. The schedule of activities of the Renault Group Works Council is determined by the projected events of the company and by proposals of themes to be discussed coming from management and members of the Group Works Council.   • Professional Development Funds 23.1.1 Two Professional Development Funds, a Professional Development Support Fund and an Education Leave Fund, shall be established to support professional development activities as defined in 23.2. On April 1st of each year, the College will allocate an amount equal to no less than 0.9% of total faculty salary (exclusive of severance payments) to the Professional Development Support Fund, and an amount equal to no less than 0.6% of total faculty salary to the Educational Leave Fund. Any unused balances in these funds shall carry over to the next budget year.
