Teachers Workday. A. The normal employee workday shall be seven (7) hours and ten (10) minutes in length plus a regular duty-free lunch period. Each principal shall determine the arrival and departure times to meet the above requirement. B. On days of inclement weather when school begins late or dismisses early, the teacher workday shall be adjusted accordingly. C. It is understood that teachers will be expected to be present at Faculty Meetings, Parent-Teacher Conferences, Open Houses, and for other reasons that may require the participation of the faculty (e.g. graduation, honors night, Christmas programs and an event of this nature).
