Teaching Hours and Working Conditions. 1. The contract day is defined as seven (7) hours and ten (10) minutes. Teachers shall be required to work seven (7) hours and ten (10) minutes each contract day. During such times, teachers shall be in the classroom or available for professional duty. 2. Pilot or experimental programs will not violate this agreement in any way, except with mutual agreement between the Western Board of Education and the Association. Pilot or experimental programs will/shall not exceed three (3) years in duration.
