Technology Architecture and Standards. To provide the Application Modernization, Development, and Maintenance Services, Service Provider will leverage the following methodologies and tools to support the technical solution. The Service Provider’s Design to Run framework will define the roles, responsibilities, and deliverables associated with each service. Service Provider will use the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Methodology described in the next section to implement services using Agile, Iterative, or Waterfall techniques. Service Provider will also use Data Migration Methodology to perform data migration activities, as well as an integrated suite of tools and accelerators to define, architect, build, and test applications.

Technology Architecture and Standards. Service Provider views developing and supporting technical architecture as an iterative process. Service Provider looks at developing technical architecture and standards from four different views—Business, Functional, Technical, and Implementation. Each fundamental view answers particular questions and is expressed in principles, models, and standards that focus on business drivers and goals, principles, and models. They all have the objective to determine feasibility and provide a perspective of an effective solution based on obstacles, constraints, and related concerns to make certain that customer’s end architecture is a balance among business needs, technological capabilities, and investment.
Technology Architecture and Standards. Service Provider anticipates that for most engagements, the Service Provider will support existing technical architectures and standards of the STC customers. When required, Service Provider shall use experienced personnel to support current environments and as needed enlist skilled technical architects to assist DCS customers, other DCS service providers, and third-party vendors in moving DIR clients to new environments.   • Information Technology Accessibility Standards Any information technology related products or services purchased, used or maintained through this Grant must be compatible with the principles and goals contained in the Electronic and Information Technology Accessibility Standards adopted by the Architectural and Transportation Barriers Compliance Board under Section 508 of the federal Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (29 U.S.C. §794d), as amended.   • Architecture The Private Improvements shall have architectural features, detailing, and design elements in accordance with the Project Schematic Drawings.
