Temperature Calibration Sample Clauses

Temperature Calibration. 2.4.1 A temperature bath is prepared at a specified range. Using a CTD to monitor the temperature the Xxxxxx is allowed to soak while the heater/chiller is allowed to run. The computer polls both the CTD and Xxxxxx for the values of their onboard thermometers, these values are then stored for processing. After running the desired temperature range the data is plotted and a linear relationship between the two data sets is found. The resultant gain and offset values are then used as coefficients for Xxxxxx’x temperature sensor.

Temperature Calibration. The best standard for TGA temperature calibration is the use of ferromagnetic standards. These materials undergo a reversible, second-order phase transition from the ferromagnetic to the paramagnetic state when a critical temperature (Xxxxx temperature) is exceeded and loose the strong magnetization typical of ferromagnetic materials. A magnet appropriately placed above or below the furnace provides the magnetic field that attracts the reference materials placed in the sample holder. When going through the Xxxxx transition the reference material magnetization vanishes resulting in an apparent weight change. Each ferromagnetic material undergoes the ferromagnetic-paramagnetic transition at a reproducible, characteristic temperature that is only determined by the chemical composition of the ferromagnetic sample. A working group under the auspices of the International Congress for Analysis and Calorimetry (ICTAC) selected a series of alloys having Xxxxx temperatures approximately every 200 ºC between 152 and 1116 ºC and the Xxxxx temperatures of these reference materials were determined in an interlaboratory test (Xxxxxxxxx, 2003). These materials (alloys of cobalt and nickel) are available from TA Instruments. Alternatively, Xxxxx Point calibration kits spanning between 163°C (Alumel alloy) and 1000°C (Hisat-50 alloy) are available from Xxxxxx-Xxxxx.
Temperature Calibration. Refer to the Service Mode section of this manual for a detailed explanation of temperature calibration. For Health Care sterilizers use the Steam calibration method. For Scientific units use the Oil Bath calibra- tion method, where required; otherwise the Steam method may be used.

Related to Temperature Calibration

  • Calibration The comparison of a measurement system or device of unverified accuracy with a measurement system of known and greater accuracy to detect deviation of the unverified measurement system from required performance specifications (of the unverified measurement system or device) and to quantify all measured values to applicable units of the international system of units.

  • Temperature Where low temperature and/or self-service cases are used for any of such merchandise coming under the jurisdiction of the Union, such cases shall be served only by employees covered by this Agreement.

  • Temperature Measurement Temperature will be measured by the nearest automatic Melbourne Bureau of Meteorology Monitoring Station for example (but not limited to): Melbourne, Moorabbin, Dunns Hill, Melbourne Airport, Frankston, and Point Xxxxxx. At the commencement of each project, the onsite management and employee representatives shall agree which is to be the applicable automatic weather monitoring station.

  • Meters 7.1.1 For installation of Meters, Meter testing, Meter calibration and Meter reading and all matters incidental thereto, the SPD and SECI shall follow and be bound by the Central Electricity Authority (Installation and Operation of Meters) Regulations, 2006, the Grid Code, as amended and revised from time to time.

  • Outputs 11. The objectives and outcomes of this Agreement will be achieved by:

  • Metering The Interconnection Customer shall be responsible for the Connecting Transmission Owner’s reasonable and necessary cost for the purchase, installation, operation, maintenance, testing, repair, and replacement of metering and data acquisition equipment specified in Attachments 2 and 3 of this Agreement. The Interconnection Customer’s metering (and data acquisition, as required) equipment shall conform to applicable industry rules and Operating Requirements.

  • Technical Specification As enumerated in Special Conditions of Contract/Scope of Work/attached Drawing/ Details/Schedule of Rates.

  • Telemetry The Meters shall be capable of sending meter telemetry data, and Seller shall provide Buyer with simultaneous access to such data at no additional cost to Buyer. This provision is in addition to Seller’s requirements under ISO-NE Rules and Practices, including ISO-NE Operating Procedure No. 18.

  • Load A term that refers to either a consumer of Energy or the amount of demand (MW) or Energy (MWh) consumed by certain customers. Load Serving Entity (“LSE”). Any entity, including a Municipal Electric System and a Cooperatively Owned Electric System, authorized or required by law, regulatory authorization or requirement, agreement, or contractual obligation to supply Energy, Capacity and/or Ancillary Services to retail customers located within the NYCA, including an entity that takes service from the ISO to supply its own Load within the NYCA; provided, however, that such entity has obtained all governmental authorizations necessary to serve Load in the NYCA.

  • DELIVERY PRESSURE Xxxxxx agrees to use due care and diligence to furnish gas hereunder at such uniform pressure as Seller may elect up to, but not exceeding 20 pounds per square inch gauge, and not less than 5 pounds per square inch gauge, at the "Point of Delivery". Buyer shall be responsible for the installation and operation of adequate safety equipment downstream of the Point of Delivery so as to relieve or control pressure variations within the limits described above that may, for any reason through malfunction of Seller's equipment or otherwise, occur on Buyer's side of the "Delivery Point".
