Common use of Temporary Assignment to Management Clause in Contracts

Temporary Assignment to Management. If an employee is required to temporarily perform a position in management, he shall be paid in accordance with the past practice of the Employer, and after completion of the temporary assignment, shall return to his previous job without loss of seniority. An Acting Manager does not have the right to discipline employees but is responsible for the efficient performance of the work of the employees assigned to the Service Area. This responsibility may be additional to the employee's regular work.
