Benefits on Lay-off. In the event of a layoff of a full-time employee, the Hospital shall pay its share of insured benefits premium up to three (3) months of the end of the month in the which the layoff occurs or until the laid off employee is employed elsewhere, whichever occurs first.
Benefits on Lay-off. In the event of a lay-off, provided the employee deposits with the Home her share of insured benefits for the succeeding month (save for weekly indemnity for which laid-off employees are not eligible) the Employer shall pay its share of the insured benefits premium for a period up to three (3) months from the end of the month in which the lay-off occurs, or until the laid-off employee is employed elsewhere, whichever comes first.

Employees will be able to buy those benefits at one hundred percent (100%) employee cost. The employee will be responsible for making appropriate arrangements with the Hospital for payment of both the employer and employee portions of the premium costs. The employee will be able to access these benefits for a maximum of twelve (12) months from the date of their actual lay-off.
Benefits on Lay-off. Effective for employees whose actual lay-off date is April 1, 2000 or after, such employees are entitled to the Extended Health and Dental benefits. Employees will be able to buy those benefits at 100% employee cost. The employee will be responsible for making appropriate arrangements with the Hospital for payment of both the employer and employee portions of the premium costs. The employee will be able to access these benefits for a maximum of 12 months from the date of their actual lay-off.
Benefits on Lay-off. A teacher on lay-off who retains rights of recall pursuant to this Article shall be entitled, if otherwise eligible, to maintain participation in all benefits provided in this agreement, by payment of the full costs of such benefits to the Board in advance, subject to the approval of the insurance carrier and provided that the teacher is not otherwise employed.
Benefits on Lay-off. 18.01 In the event of lay-off, a laid off full time employee will be provided equivalent benefit coverage on the same basis as is provided to active employees for semi-private, extended health and dental benefits as defined in the Collective Agreement not to exceed five (5) months following the month in which the layoff occurred.
Benefits on Lay-off. In the event of a lay-off of an employee, the Hospital shall pay its share of insured benefits premiums for thirty (30) days following the date of the layoff. The employee may, if possible under the terms and conditions of the insurance benefits programs, continue to pay the full premium costs of a benefit or benefits for up to twelve (12) months following the end of the month in which the lay-off occurs. Such payment can be made through the Human Resources Department of the Hospital provided that the employee informs the Hospital of his or her intent to do so at the time of the lay-off, and arranges with the Hospital the appropriate payment schedule.

Where the collective agreement provides otherwise and the parties cannot agree to the standard language, the existing provision will be maintained as non-standard language. Any non-standard provision related to Benefits on Lay-off shall be continued under Article 10.06. Benefits on Lay-off. The Board agrees to pay its portion of premiums for all employee benefit plans for regular employees laid off for a period of up to four (4) calendar months. In the event of a longer lay-off, employees so affected shall have the right to continue receiving coverage through direct payment where allowable. A regular employee can elect to receive three percent (3%) of their gross earnings on all casual and temporary work in lieu of the continuation of employee benefits under this clause.
