Common use of Temporary Disability Clause in Contracts

Temporary Disability. If an employee who is entitled to reinstatement under this section is unable to perform the duties of his/her office or position at the date of his/her application for reinstatement thereto because of a temporary physical disability, the employee shall be restored to such office or position when the physical disability is removed, provided the physical disability is removed within one year from the date of application for reinstatement.
