Employees employed as Clinician I will be reclassified as Clinician II as soon as they are able to perform the essential functions listed in the job description for Clinician II. Employees employed as Registered Nurse I will be reclassified as Registered Nurse II as soon as they have acquired the required skills and are able and willing to perform the essential functions listed in the job description.

Progression to Higher. Paid Position in a Classification Series. Employees employed as Call Center Service Staff I (or Call Center Service Staff I – Bilingual, Interpreter) will be reclassified as a Call Center Service Staff II (or Call Center Service Staff II – Bilingual, Interpreter) as soon as they demonstrate ability to perform the essential functions of a Call Center Service Staff II, including the knowledge and capacities described in the job description for Call Center Service Staff II. Employees classified as Call Center Service Staff I will be provided the opportunity for training necessary to perform the essential functions and acquire the knowledge and capacities of the job within eight months of initial placement in their position. Employees employed as Clinic Assistant I (or Clinic Assistant I – Bilingual, Interpreter) will be reclassified as a Clinical Assistant II as soon as they demonstrate ability to perform the essential functions of a CA II, including proficiency in at least three of the operations or medical skills/responsibilities listed in the job description for Clinic Assistant II. Employees classified as Clinic Assistant I will be provided the opportunity for training necessary to perform the essential functions of a Clinic Assistant II and to master the operations or skills/responsibilities of the job and an opportunity to demonstrate proficiency in them within six months of initial placement in their position. Employees employed as Clinician I (or Clinician I – Bilingual or Clinician I – Float) will be reclassified as Clinician II as soon as they are able to perform the essential functions listed in the job description for Clinician II but not before the successful conclusion of the initial trial service period. Employees employed as Registered Nurse I (or Registered Nurse I-Bilingual) will be reclassified as Registered Nurse II as soon as they have acquired the required skills and are able and willing to perform the essential functions listed in the job description.

  • Return to Work (a) The parties recognize the duty of reasonable accommodation for individuals under the Human Rights Code of Ontario and agree that this Collective Agreement will be interpreted in such a way as to permit the Employer and the Union to discharge that duty. To that end, the Home and the Union agree to cooperate in complying with the Ontario Human Rights Code.

  • Permission to Leave Work The Employer agrees that stewards shall not be hindered, coerced, restrained or interfered with in any way in the performance of their duties, while investigating disputes and presenting adjustments as provided in this Article. The Union recognizes that each xxxxxxx is employed by the Employer and that they will not leave their work during working hours except to perform their duties under this Agreement. Therefore, no xxxxxxx shall leave their work without permission of their supervisor, which will not be unreasonably withheld.

  • Recall to Work 5.6.2.1 An employee recalled to work overtime after leaving the company’s premises (whether notified before or after leaving the premises) will be paid for a minimum of three hours work at the appropriate rates for each time the employee is so recalled. Except in the case of unforeseen circumstances arising, the employee will not be required to work the full three hours if the job the employee was recalled to perform is completed within a shorter period.

  • Early and Safe Return to Work The Hospital and the Union both recognize their obligations in facilitating the early and safe return to work of disabled employees. The Hospital and the Union agree that ongoing and timely communication by all participants in this process is essential to the success of the process.

  • Commencement of Grid Rate 5.2.1 Number of days to go on grid: A substitute teacher employed for more than four (4) consecutive school days as a replacement for a specific teacher shall be placed on the basic salary schedule on the fifth (5th) consecutive school day according to the substitute teacher's qualifications and experience.

  • Contractor’s Xxxxxxxx to City Compensation. The Contractor shall send invoices to the City on a monthly or bi-monthly basis for the amounts to be paid pursuant to this contract. Each invoice shall document, to the reasonable satisfaction of the City: such information as may be reasonably requested by the City. Within 60 days after the City receives an invoice, the City shall send the Contractor a check in payment for all undisputed amounts contained in the invoice.

  • Commencement of Services The Consultant shall begin carrying out the Services from the Effective Date or from such other Date specified in the SC.

  • Failure to Return to Work If, upon the expiration of FMLA or CFRA Leave, or any District approved extension thereof including General Leave, an employee fails to return to work and no additional leave has been authorized, the employee shall be considered to have automatically resigned from his or her position. In such cases, the employee will receive advance notification of the District’s intent to implement an automatic resignation.

  • Definition of Building Where Lift Required 1.1 A passenger/materials lift shall be provided on a building which shall, when complete, consist of more than six (6) storey levels excluding the roof, parapets and basement levels (if any), but including the ground floor. (Refer to Sub Clause 2.1 herein.)
