Temporary Employees - Xxxx Fighting. Temporary employees will have their normal base pay maintained for a maximum of five working days or to the end of the intended employment period, whichever comes first. If the fire fighting period extends beyond five working days, the employee will be placed on an unpaid leave of absence until he/she returns to work, or to the end of the originally intended employment period.
