Common use of Temporary Promotion Allowance Clause in Contracts

Temporary Promotion Allowance. (i) An employee who is temporarily promoted to a higher Production or Tier Level shall be eligible to receive a Temporary Promotion Allowance (TPA) in the amount of ten dollars ($10.00) per day for each Production or Tier Level for each day such employee is assigned to work in the higher Level. While on such temporary assignment the employee shall continue to receive the STANDARD RATE he or she would have been paid in the lower Production Level, or Tier Level.
