Temporary Schedule Changes. In the event the University initiates a temporary schedule change, the employee will be notified in writing of the change at least seven (7) calendar days in advance. The day that notification is given is considered the first day of notice. Temporary changes to such employee’s work schedule may be made with less than seven (7) days’ notice; provided that in the event a scheduled employee is assigned a temporary schedule change with less notice for reasons other than the employee’s request, the employee will be given the option to work his or her normal schedule in addition to the modified schedule. A temporary schedule change is defined as a change lasting twenty-one
