Common use of Temporary Status Clause in Contracts

Temporary Status. a. A temporary faculty member is a person hired by the College to fill a vacated position caused by the absence (e.g., paid/unpaid leave, LTD, reassignment) of a regular or probationary faculty member or to fill a newly created faculty position. For these positions, the College may appoint an applicant without following the requirements of Article 11. The term of this appointment may only be for one year or less.
