Tenure on Appointment. a) Notwithstanding Article 18.01 h), tenure may be conferred at the time of initial appointment to the University only at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor, and then only after a positive recommendation of the DTC. The academic unit head shall convene a meeting of the DTC in order to consider a candidate for tenure on appointment.
