Common use of Terms of Policies to Govern Clause in Contracts

Terms of Policies to Govern. The extent of coverage under the insurance policies referred to in Section 1 of this Article shall be governed by the terms and conditions set forth in said policies. Any questions concerning coverage shall be resolved in accordance with the terms and conditions in said policy and shall not be subject to the grievance procedure set forth in this Agreement; provided, however, any employee who has a question concerning coverage may present it to the Human Resources Director, Village Manager or the Police Chief, if the Manager shall so designate, and the Manager or Chief, in turn shall make appropriate inquiry and shall advise the employee of the status of the matter.
