Testing and Tracing. The District shall notify bargaining unit employees who have been exposed to COVID-19 at work. The District shall identify individuals who have been in close contact (within six feet for 15 minutes or more) of an infected person, or a person who is suspected to be infected, and take steps to isolate the infected person and close contacts. The District shall provide COVID-19 testing at no expense to bargaining unit employees where potential exposure has occurred. XXXX agrees to cooperate with the District in any necessary public health actions, such as contact tracing of infected individuals. The District will develop a plan for when a staff member, student or visitor becomes sick, per Cal/OSHA and CDPH school guidelines. The District will provide that plan and any updates to CSEA and will train staff about the procedures to be followed. Temperature taking duties shall first be offered to bargaining unit members on a voluntary basis. Participating bargaining unit members shall be trained in screening technique prior to screening.
Testing and Tracing a) The District shall provide documented plans for testing and contact tracing for when any on-site person(s) have tested positive for COVID-19.

The District will explore options for monthly onsite COVID-19 testing at no charge, prioritizing those employees reporting to the worksite, and provide information to employees related to COVID-19 testing. Unit workers will also be allowed to get their COVID-19 test done with their healthcare provider.

The District will provide regular COVID-19 testing on the school site for WTA members.

Testing and Tracing. The District and CSEA shall continue to discuss and if necessary, negotiate the effects of a comprehensive testing and tracing plan.

Upon learning that infected persons were present at a school site, the District shall close the facility and deep-clean it before asking staff members to return. Before the infected individual may return to a worksite, they must test negative for COVID-19 or have a doctor’s note indicating they are fit to return to work.
