THE RENTAL PERIOD a. The rental period shall include all time consumed in transporting the equipment. The rental period shall be measured from the date and time of delivery of the equipment by or to Renter or to a carrier from transit to the Renter, to and including the date such equipment is delivered to Highland at Highlands unloading point.

THE RENTAL PERIOD. 4.1 The Rental Period commences on the earlier of the following: (a) when We deliver the Equipment to the address in the Schedule; or (b) when You take possession of the Equipment. 4.2 The Rental Period is for an indefinite term and ends when the Equipment is back in Our control or possession. 4.3 A minimum Rental Period of three (3) months applies to all items of Equipment (“Minimum Rental Period”). If You return the Equipment to Us before the expiration of the Minimum Rental Period, You are required to pay all Fees in respect of the Minimum Rental Period.
THE RENTAL PERIOD. The Rental Period shall commence on the date set forth above and shall include the date upon which the Equipment is picked up by the Lessee or the Lessee's agent (including any public carrier). Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained herein, the Rental Period and the term of this Lease shall end upon and include the earlier of the following dates: (a) the date of the actual delivery of the Equipment by the Lessee to the Lessor at such location as may be designated in writing by the Lessor; or (b) the date immediately preceding the one year anniversary of the commencement date of the Rental Period (the "Anniversary Date"). If, for any reason, the Lessee retains possession of the Equipment beyond the Anniversary Date, such continued possession on the part of the Lessee shall be deemed to be without the consent of the Lessor, and the Lessee shall pay to the Lessor, by way of liquidated damages, an amount equal to the Rental payable in respect of the Equipment pursuant to Paragraph 2 "Calculation of Rental Charges" hereof for the period during which the Lessee retains possession of the Equipment beyond the Anniversary Date and, notwithstanding that the Lessor may, in its discretion, provide cartage for the return of the Equipment, the Lessee shall be deemed to be in possession of the Equipment without the Lessor's consent until the Equipment has been returned to its point of origin or such other location as may be designated in writing by the Lessor.
THE RENTAL PERIOD. 4.1 The Rental Period which constitutes the object of this Agreement shall be 36 months, starting on April 15, 2011, and ending on April 14, 2014 (hereinafter: the “Rental Period”). 4.2 Subject to the fulfillment of all of the Lessee’s obligations pursuant to this Agreement, the Lessee shall be given an option to extend the rental by 36 additional months (hereinafter: the “Additional Rental Period”), which shall begin on the expiry date of the Rental Period, provided that the Lessee shall have given notice in advance and in writing, not less than 120 days before the expiry of the Rental Period, of its wish to exercise the option, and shall have complied with the terms set forth in this Agreement, including consent to pay the rent for the Additional Rental Period as set forth in Section 6.7 of this Agreement. 4.3 Should the Lessee have given notice, as set forth above, of its wish to continue to rent the Premises for an Additional Rental Period, all of the provisions of this Agreement shall apply, mutatis mutandis, including the changes set forth in detail in Section 6.7 below, which concerns the rent for the Additional Rental Period. 4.4 The Parties to this Agreement agree that should the Lessee desire to terminate the rental prior to the expiry of the Rental Period, it shall be entitled to do so, provided that it shall find, at its own expense, an alternative lessee, who shall be prepared to rent the Premises at the same price and pursuant to the terms of this Agreement, and who shall be acceptable to the Lessor. 4.5 The Lessee shall be entitled to introduce a subletting lessee into the Premises, provided that said subletting lessee shall be acceptable to the Lessor, and provided that said subletting lessee shall sign a Subletting Agreement, which secures the rights of the Lessor, including the provision of sureties as the Lessor shall require. 4.6 The Lessor’s consent as set forth in Sections 4.4 and 4.5 above shall not be withheld other than for reasonable cause.
THE RENTAL PERIOD. The rental period with respect to each piece of Equipment shall commence on and include the day of actual delivery of the Equipment to the Lessee or the Lessee's agent, including any public carrier taking same for transit to the Lessee. The rental period shall end on and include the day of actual delivery of the Equipment to the Lessor, another Lessee of the Lessor or an agent of either, including any public carrier taking same for transit to the Lessor or such other Lessee, The Lessee shall notify Lessor that rental period is completed and equipment is ready for transport. The Lessee is responsible for the Equipment until it has been returned to the Lessor's address and secured during normal business hours. Rental Rates are based on a 1 shift day. A one-day rental is considered a 24hr period with a maximum of 8 hours run time.

It is your responsibility to ensure that you are issued with and receive a Rental Termination Number, especially in the case of cancellation via fax. Should the Date and Time of your Rental Period be disputed, the Rental Termination Number and the registered date and time (as recorded by us) of the allocation of such Number, shall constitute prima facie proof of the Date and Time when such Notice was given.
THE RENTAL PERIOD. 4.1. The rental period starts at the agreed time. If the Renter is not present to receive the vessel, they are not entitled to compensation in the form of a later end time of the rental period. 4.2. The Renter agrees not to leave the boat unattended during the rental period. If the boat must be temporarily left, it must remain within sight of at least two members of the rented party at all times. 4.3. Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, the rental period can be optionally extended during navigation by first contacting Samen Sloepen by phone or via WhatsApp (+00 0 00000000). If the extension is possible (Samen Sloepen reserves the right to refuse), an hourly rate of €40 will apply. 4.4. The Renter must return the boat at the agreed time. For any delays, €100 will be charged for every 15 minutes. Returning the boat on time ensures that other Renters are not disadvantaged by the delay. 4.5. At the end of the rental period, the Renter must return the vessel to Samen Sloepen clean and free of waste. Waste must be deposited in the provided trash bags. It is prohibited to throw anything overboard. 4.6. When returning and/or temporarily leaving the vessel, the Renter must properly moor the vessel using the designated lines.
