The Working With Children. Check (WWCC) is a legal requirement that applies to persons who work or volunteer with children (U18 years old). It checks the background of persons who work or volunteer with children in sport clubs, schools, childcare centres, community groups, Churches and other organisations. Once you verify a WWCC you must keep appropriate records that proves your members are cleared to work with children. You must also provide this record to the NSWTA. Each Affiliate must be registered as an employer, have all Coach/Managers/Officials undergo the prescribed check and verify all and report to the NSWTA prior to the event.
