Common use of Time Off Requests Clause in Contracts

Time Off Requests. 8 a. Requests for time off will be made to managers in a 9 manner identical to vacation leave requests. Employees will note leave on their TAR. 10 Managers will be responsible for tracking paid leave. 11 b. Requests will be submitted six (6) weeks prior to the 12 anticipated leave to allow for scheduling. Six (6) week deadline will be waived for 13 units returning from limited duration layoff. Requests submitted after the six-(6) week 14 deadline may be approved at the discretion of the manager. 15 c. If multiple persons request the same dates off, all involved 16 parties will negotiate which requests take priority based on protocols established at 17 each work site.
