Time Off Work. (a) An Employee shall be given an unpaid leave of absence while participating in the Employee Assistance Program and so long as the employee is in compliance with the requirements, if any, for continued participation in the program. During such period of time the Employee shall be treated as if the employee were on an unpaid leave of absence for personal reasons under the terms of the current Collective Agreement. (b) Employees shall be entitled to paid time off work for the purposes of EAP consultations, as opposed to EAP treatment programs which are to be taken as an unpaid leave of absence.
