TIME SUPERVISORS. D.23.1. The Board of Education believes that teachers should have the freedom to use their noon time as a lunch break or to use it to be involved in some way with students. The Board, therefore, will hire personnel to provide general school supervision during noon hours. D.23.2. The administrative officer may designate teachers as the school contact person for the noon time supervisors. D.23.3. It is understood that when necessitated by circumstance not reasonably known to the administrative officer, a teacher may be required to perform reasonable temporary noon hour supervision when, in the judgement of the administrative officer, it is necessary for the preservation of student safety and well being.

TIME SUPERVISORS. Part-time Supervisorsshall inspect or drive for a day only, except in the case of emergency or extenuating circumstances no other Operators available. Any member of Local appointed to the position of Part-Time Supervisor shall be limited to this position for up to a maximum of sixty (60) months, unless the Commission and the Union agree to extend the term by an additional sixty (60) months. Operators the position of Part-Time Supervisor and completing their term may re-apply for future positions, The Agent shall have input in the selection of any Operator appointed to all positions of Part-Time Supervisor. The Commission may appoint up to three (3) Operators for the purpose of Part-Time Supervisor.

  • WORK BY SUPERVISORS Supervisors and all other excluded employees will not work on any job for which rates are established by this agreement, except for the purpose of instruction, experimenting, safety or environ- mental reasons or when regular employees are not available.

  • Site Safety Supervisor 62.1 On every job site, where the Employer is the principal contractor it shall appoint a management representative responsible for safety (Site Safety Supervisor). The Employer will ensure the Site Safety Supervisor has the necessary authority to ensure that all safety laws, procedures or Codes of Practice are observed, and that the following Safety Agreement is applied. 62.2 The Employer when appointing the person appointed as the Site Safety Supervisor must ensure that person has and maintainsthe appropriate experience and knowledge of the safety requirements of the work being performed. Other duties may be assigned by the Employer to a Site Safety Supervisor, provided that such duties shall not prevent him/her from exercising their duties as a Site Safety Supervisor.

  • Immediate Supervisor The first (1st) District-designated supervisor or manager not within the same bargaining unit who has immediate jurisdiction over the grievant.

  • CONTRACTOR SUPERVISION Contractor shall provide competent supervision of personnel employed on the job Site, use of equipment, and quality of workmanship.

  • SITE SUPERVISION 1.9.1 Contractor shall provide adequate supervision of his employees to ensure complete and satisfactory performance of all work in accordance with the terms of the contract. Contractor shall have a responsible supervisor on the job at all times when the work of the contract is being carried out. 1.9.2 Contractor's site supervisor shall be responsible for communication with the State's representatives and shall meet with the Project Manager at the site on a weekly basis to discuss project status, including any problems, ideas, or concerns related to the project work. 1.9.3 Contractor and its employees shall be subject to all applicable State and Federal statutes and regulations for the conduct of personnel. 1.9.4 The Contractor shall provide adequate supervision of his/her subcontractors and their employees at all times.

  • Training Committee The parties to this Agreement may form a Training Committee. The Training Committee will be constituted by equal numbers of Employer nominees and ETU employee representatives and have a charter which clearly states its role and responsibilities. It shall monitor the clauses of this Agreement which relate to training and ensure all employees have equal access to training.

  • Supervisors Supervisors may continue to perform bargaining unit work which is incidental to their jobs. They may also perform bargaining unit work in emergency situations and where such work is necessary to train a covered member. Such work by supervisors may result from but shall not cause any layoffs of covered members.

  • Project Managers The JBE’s project manager is: [Insert name]. The JBE may change its project manager at any time upon notice to Contractor without need for an amendment to this Agreement. Contractor’s project manager is: [Insert name]. Subject to written approval by the JBE, Contractor may change its project manager without need for an amendment to this Agreement.

  • Supervisor Within ten (10) business days from the occurrence of the matter on which a complaint is based, or within ten (10) business days from his/her knowledge of such occurrence, an employee shall file a formal written grievance. Three copies of the departmental grievance form shall be completed by the employee stating the nature of the grievance and the remedy requested from his/her departmental Management. The employee shall submit two copies to his/her immediate supervisor and retain the third copy.

  • Training Plan 19.6.1 An apprentice shall be a party to an individual Training Plan. 19.6.2 The Training Plan sets out the training that the apprentice will do both on – the – job and off – the – job. The Training Plan also sets out how the Registered Training Organisation (RTO) will ensure the apprentice will receive quality training – both on – the – job and off – the – job. 19.6.3 The Training Plan reflects the choices made by the employer and the apprentice in relation to:-
