Traffic Markings. THE ENTIRE SUBPART TEXT IS CHANGED TO: For traffic markings, use either preformed or hot extruded thermoplastic conforming to AASHTO M 249, except that for preformed thermoplastic, the minimum thickness requirement is 90 mils. Use beads conforming to AASHTO M 247, Type 1, with a moisture resistant coating. Ensure that glass beads do not contain more than 200 ppm of lead, 200 ppm of antimony, or 100 ppm of arsenic. Submit certifications of compliance, as specified in 106.07, for each batch of materials used on the Contract. For each lot of glass beads, submit test results indicating the parts per million of lead, antimony and arsenic as determined by testing according to Environmental Protection Agency testing method 3052 and testing method 6010B or 6010C.
Traffic Markings. Roadway Center Lines: a. Apply paint only when air temperature is above 10°C and no rain in forecast, above dew point. b. Apply paint evenly to give a minimum film thickness of 15.0 wet mils. c. Paint markings to be within plus or minus 20mm of specified dimensions. d. Markings shall be 100mm wide, yellow single solid (continuous) lines. e. Protect pavement markings until dry. Symbols, letter and lines to conform to dimensions indicated. f. Correction to existing paint markings shall be by black traffic paint, upon City approval g. Yellow solid lines do not go through intersections but stop at the 0.6m stop bar or at the outside edge of the crosswalk. a. There are a total of 202 individual crosswalks to be painted. All are to be painted in either May or June. b. Apply white paint evenly to give a minimum film thickness of 15.0 wet mils. c. Correction to existing paint markings shall be by black traffic paint, upon City approval. d. Crosswalk lines should be offset from the intersecting roadway by 1.2m, where possible. e. Each crosswalk shall be painted in a two-step process. Utilizing the street center line as a divider, half the crosswalk shall be painted and coned and given appropriate drying time (depending on ambient air and road surface temperature) following manufacturer’s specification. This shall then be repeated for the remaining half of the crosswalk thus allowing through traffic (restricted to one lane) until the paint dries. Attached drawing City of Weyburn Line Painting Drawings 2022,Sheet 5c, detailing specifications for the intersections where lane painting, directional arrows and stop bars are required. Note, crosswalks in this intersection are included in the previous section and therefore should not be included when pricing this section: a. All stop bars are to be placed as shown on the plans, otherwise they are to be placed 1.0 m away from the edge of the nearest crosswalk. Traffic Markings. When traffic markings are to be placed by either the Contractor or others, furnish the layout and clean and pre-line the surface to allow the placement of permanent pavement markings on the Project. When traffic markings are not included in the Project plans, the Department will provide striping plans and/or standard drawings for the Contractor’s use.

  • Markings If permitted by applicable Law, on or reasonably promptly after the Closing Date, Owner will cause to be affixed to, and maintained in, the cockpit of the Airframe and on each Engine, in each case, in a clearly visible location, a placard of a reasonable size and shape bearing the legend: “Subject to a security interest in favor of Wilmington Trust, National Association, not in its individual capacity but solely as Mortgagee.” Such placards may be removed temporarily, if necessary, in the course of maintenance of the Airframe or Engines. If any such placard is damaged or becomes illegible, Owner shall promptly replace it with a placard complying with the requirements of this Section.

  • Storage of Materials Borrower shall cause all materials supplied for or intended to be utilized in the construction of the Improvements but not affixed to or incorporated into the Property to be stored on the Property or at such other location as may be approved by Lender in writing, with adequate safeguards to prevent loss, theft, damage or commingling with other materials not intended to be utilized in the construction of the Improvements.

  • SINGLE-USE PRODUCTS The Board of County Commissioners has established a single-use products and plastic bags policy intended to reduce the use of products which have become globally recognized as having lasting negative impacts on the environment. Neither single-use products nor plastic bags may be sold or disbursed on County property by staff or contracted vendors, except as set forth in Orange County Administrative Regulation 9.01.03. Failure to comply with the Regulation may result in termination of the contract or other contractual remedies, and may affect future contracting with the County. The use of reusable, recyclable, biodegradable, or compostable materials is encouraged.

  • TLD Nameservers ICANN will use commercially reasonable efforts to ensure that any changes to the TLD nameserver designations submitted to ICANN by Registry Operator (in a format and with required technical elements specified by ICANN at xxxx://xxx.xxxx.xxx/domains/root/ will be implemented by ICANN within seven (7) calendar days or as promptly as feasible following technical verifications.

  • Unauthorised Use of Intellectual Property a) The Supplier/Service Provider agrees to notify Transnet in writing of any conflicting uses of, and applications of registrations of Patents, Designs and Trade Marks or any act of infringement, unfair competition or passing off involving the Intellectual Property of Transnet of which the Supplier/Service Provider acquires knowledge and Transnet shall have the right, as its own option, to proceed against any party infringing its Intellectual Property. b) It shall be within the sole and absolute discretion of Transnet to determine what steps shall be taken against the infringer and the Supplier/Service Provider shall co-operate fully with Transnet, at Transnet’s cost, in whatever measure including legal action to bring any infringement of illegal use to an end. c) The Supplier/Service Provider shall cooperate to provide Transnet promptly with all relevant ascertainable facts. d) If proceedings are commenced by Transnet alone, Transnet shall be responsible for all expenses but shall be entitled to all damages or other awards arising out of such proceedings. If proceedings are commenced by both Parties, both Parties will be responsible for the expenses and both Parties shall be entitled to damages or other awards arising out of proceedings.

  • License; Use Upon delivery to an Authorized Person or a person reasonably believed by Custodian to be an Authorized Person of the Fund of software enabling the Fund to obtain access to the System (the “Software”), Custodian grants to the Fund a personal, nontransferable and nonexclusive license to use the Software solely for the purpose of transmitting Written Instructions, receiving reports, making inquiries or otherwise communicating with Custodian in connection with the Account(s). The Fund shall use the Software solely for its own internal and proper business purposes and not in the operation of a service bureau. Except as set forth herein, no license or right of any kind is granted to the Fund with respect to the Software. The Fund acknowledges that Custodian and its suppliers retain and have title and exclusive proprietary rights to the Software, including any trade secrets or other ideas, concepts, know-how, methodologies, or information incorporated therein and the exclusive rights to any copyrights, trademarks and patents (including registrations and applications for registration of either), or other statutory or legal protections available in respect thereof. The Fund further acknowledges that all or a part of the Software may be copyrighted or trademarked (or a registration or claim made therefor) by Custodian or its suppliers. The Fund shall not take any action with respect tot the Software inconsistent with the foregoing acknowledgement, nor shall the Fund attempt to decompile, reverse engineer or modify the Software. The Fund may not xxx, sell, lease or provide, directly or indirectly, any of the Software of any portion thereof to any other person or entity without Custodian’s prior written consent. The Fund may not remove any statutory copyright notice or other notice included in the Software or on any media containing the Software. The Fund shall reproduce any such notice on any reproduction of the Software and shall add any statutory copyright notice or other notice to the Software or media upon Custodian’s request.

  • Licensed Materials The materials that are the subject of this Agreement are set forth in Appendix A ("Licensed Materials").

  • Weapons We have a zero tolerance of the possession of weapons (sword, knives etc) or firearms (guns etc) in the Room, Building or Common Property. If You are found in possession of weapons, firearms or implements associated with their use in the Room, Building or Common Property We will immediately terminate this agreement and inform the relevant UNSW and legal authorities.

  • Service Marks BlueCross BlueShield of Western New York is an independent corporation organized under the New York Insurance Law. BlueCross BlueShield of Western New York also operates under licenses with the BlueCross BlueShield Association, which licenses BlueCross BlueShield of Western New York to use the BlueCross BlueShield service marks in a portion of New York State. BlueCross BlueShield of Western New York does not act as an agent of the BlueCross BlueShield Association. BlueCross BlueShield of Western New York is solely responsible for the obligations created under this agreement.
