Pavement Markings. Pavement markings shall be provided for the entire project highway as per the manual.

B. All Temporary Striping Beyond Forty-Five (45) days (>45 Days) C. All Temporary Traffic Striping on Final Surface
Pavement Markings. A. General
Pavement Markings. Are used to convey messages to roadway users. They indicate what part of the road to use, provide information about conditions ahead, and indicate where passing is allowed. Symbols are used to indicate permitted lane usage. They are also used to alert users of potentially hazardous conditions ahead. Standards for the design and application of pavement markings can be found in the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD).
Pavement Markings. Pavement markings will be measured as specified in Section 150.
Pavement Markings. 34 Pavement marking layout must comply with the ADOT Signing and Marking Standard Drawings.
Pavement Markings. General (temporary and permanent) Pavement markings are: clean and visible during the day and at night whole and complete and of the correct color, type, width and length correctly placed to meet the MUTCD and CDOT M&S Standard Plans. Non-applicable pavement markings are removed.
Pavement Markings. Pavement markings within Crow Wing’s rights-of-way will be Crow Wing’s responsibility. Pavement marking application and reapplications will be at the discretion of Crow Wing. Baxter may be eligible to participate in Crow Wing’s annual pavement marking contract, if requirements are met for city streets.
Pavement Markings. .1 Measurement for payment for pavement markings, including reflective glass beads, shall be in lineal kilometres (km), measured along the centreline of the roadway, and will include centrelines to match existing layout (single solid), two shoulder lines, as well as all parking spaces, and intersections.
.2 Painted traffic signs, turning arrows, etc. are considered incidental and no additional payment shall be made for these items.
.3 No additional payment for traffic control associated with the application of pavement markings shall be made.
.4 All pavement markings to be in accordance with the Manual of Uniform Traffic Devices for Canada, latest edition. Pre- marking by contractor will be coordinated by the Departmental Representative. Temporary pavement markings shall be incidental to the Work.
Pavement Markings. 1. Provide all Roadway, pedestrian, and bicycle pavement markings required to guide, regulate and control traffic within the Lands in accordance with the requirements of D&CS, Volume 8 – Pavement Markings, 2022 and the TAC manuals referred to in Section 3-2.2 [Reference Standards] of this Schedule, except:
a. The City will supply and install all permanent pavement markings in accordance with the Accepted Final Designs provided by the Design-Builder. Provide the City with sufficient notice that the Roadway will be complete and ready for public use, in accordance with Section 1-1.3 [City Works] of this Schedule.
2. All existing and temporary pavement markings must be maintained until permanent pavement markings are installed.
