Common use of Transfer of Accrued Sick Leave Clause in Contracts

Transfer of Accrued Sick Leave. Accrued sick leave will be transferred if an employee terminates employment with the District and is employed by another California public school district or other public educational agency, but only in accordance with the specific conditions of applicable sections of the California Education Code and the conditions specified by the new employing agency. It is the employee’s responsibility to initiate the transfer request through the new employing agency.
