Common use of Transfer of Seniority Clause in Contracts

Transfer of Seniority. An employee whose status is changed from full-time to part-time shall receive credit for full seniority and service provided that seniority date does not predate date of hire. Seniority shall be calculatedon the basis of hours worked for each year of seniority. An employee whose status is changed from part- time to full-time shall receive credit for full seniority and service.
