Transfer of Work Commitments. 1. Upon expiration or termination of this CONTRACT for any reason, BUREAU shall cooperate with CITY to ensure a smooth transition and completion of BUREAU work; and BUREAU shall assign to CITY all contracts, rights, and claims relating to BUREAU work. 2. Upon expiration or termination of this CONTRACT for any reason, CITY shall pay BUREAU for services rendered prior to such termination or expiration date; and CITY shall honor written commitments made by BUREAU to provide support services to meeting planners or tourist groups, which commitments were made pursuant to the terms of this CONTRACT prior to termination. Such agreements to be honored by CITY shall include contracts or lease agreements entered into in the normal course of operation.

  • Time Commitment The Advisor shall, and shall cause its Affiliates and their respective employees, officers and agents to, devote to the Company such time as shall be reasonably necessary to conduct the business and affairs of the Company in an appropriate manner consistent with the terms of this Agreement. The Company acknowledges that the Advisor and its Affiliates and their respective employees, officers and agents may also engage in activities unrelated to the Company and may provide services to Persons other than the Company or any of its Affiliates.

  • Suspension of Work The Department may, at its sole discretion, suspend any or all activities under the Contract, at any time, when it is in the best interest of the State of Florida to do so. The Customer may suspend a resulting contract or purchase order, at any time, when in the best interest of the Customer to do so. The Department or Customer will provide the Contractor written notice outlining the particulars of the suspension. After receiving a suspension notice, the Contractor must comply with the notice and will cease the performance of the Contract or purchase order. Suspension of work will not entitle the Contractor to any additional compensation. The Contractor will not resume performance of the Contract or purchase order until so authorized by the Department.

  • COMMENCEMENT OF WORK UNDER A SOW AGREEMENT Commencement of work as a result of the SOW-RFP process shall be initiated only upon issuance of a fully executed SOW Agreement and Purchase Order.

  • Additional Commitments The Parties may negotiate commitments with respect to measures affecting trade in services not subject to scheduling under Article 106 (National Treatment) or Article 107 (Market Access), including those regarding qualifications, standards or licensing matters. Such commitments shall be inscribed in a Party's Schedule.

  • Statement of Work The Statement of Work to which Grantee is bound is incorporated into and made a part of this Grant Agreement for all purposes and included as Attachment A.

  • Scope of Work For the 2022/2023 Grant Period, the Provider will maintain a victim services program that will be available to provide direct services to victims of crime who are identified by the Provider or are presented to the Provider, as specified in the Provider’s 2022/2023 Grant Application as approved by the OAG and incorporated herein by reference.

  • Assignment of Work (a) The parties agree that it is essential to ensure that all employees be advised of their job expectations, duties and responsibilities. (b) Where an employee is concerned that they cannot complete assignments and/or their work obligations, it is their responsibility to seek advice and direction from their local supervisor.   • UNCOVERING OF WORK 13.1.1 If any portion of the Work should be covered contrary to the request of the Architect or to requirements specifically expressed in the Contract Documents, it must, if required in writing by the Architect, be uncovered for his or her observation and shall be replaced at the Contractor's expense. 13.1.2 If any other portion of the Work has been covered which the Architect has not specifically requested to observe prior to being covered, the Architect may request to see such Work and it shall be uncovered by the Contractor. If such Work is found in accordance with the Contract Documents, the cost of uncovering and replacement shall, by appropriate Change Order, be charged to the State. If such Work is found not to be in accordance with the Contract Documents, the Contractor shall pay such costs unless it is found that this condition was caused by the State or a separate contractor as provided in Article 6 of these General Conditions, in which event the State shall be responsible for the payment of such costs.
