Translator Pay. Employees who are assigned by their Department to a “Designated Bilingual Position,” and approved by the Department of Human Resources, shall be granted additional compensation of $50.00 per pay period for translating a minimum of ten (10) hours bi-weekly. 123. A “Designated Bilingual Position” is one designated by the Department, which requires translating to and from a foreign language, including sign language as used by the deaf.
