Transmitted employee. 25.11.1 For the purpose of long service leave where a business has, whether before or after the coming into operation of this Agreement, been transmitted from an employer (transmitter) to another employer (transmittee) and an employee who at the time of such transmission was an employee of the transmitter in that business, immediately on transmission of that business, becomes an employee of the transmittee, the employee is a transmitted employee. 25.11.2 In this clause transmission includes transfer, conveyance, assignment or succession whether by Agreement or by operation of law and transmitted has a corresponding meaning.
