Trial Service on Placement in a New Classification. Employees taking a position in a new classification will have to complete a new trial service period. If the new position is a non-licensed position, the new trial service period shall not exceed thirty (30) days, unless extended by mutual agreement of the employee and the employee’s supervisor. If the new position is a licensed position, the new trial service period shall not exceed ninety (90) days.

Trial Service on Placement in a New Classification. Employees taking a position in a new classification for which they receive a new offer letter will have to complete a new trial service period. If the employee does not successfully complete the trial service in the new classification, the employee may return to the employee’s prior job and rate of pay, providing that position is vacant. In the event that the position is not vacant, the employee will be given an involuntary leave of absence, without pay or benefits, and preference for the first future vacancy in the same classification for a period not to exceed ninety (90) days.

  • Right to Stop Payment and Procedure for Doing So If you have told us in advance to make regular payments out of your account, you can stop any of these payments by calling or writing us at the telephone number or address referenced below in this disclosure in time for us to receive your request three (3) business days or more before a payment is scheduled to be made. If you call, we may also require you to put your request in writing and get it to us within fourteen (14) days after you call.   • PROHIBITION ON CONTRACTS WITH COMPANIES BOYCOTTING ISRAEL CERTIFICATION As required by Chapter 2271 of the Texas Local Government Code the Contractor must verify that it 1) does not boycott Israel; and 2) will not boycott Israel during the term of the Contract. Pursuant to Section 2271.001, Texas Government Code:

  • Invoicing for Charges Against the Judicial Council’s Master Account A. The Contractor shall establish a Master Account for the Judicial Council’s charges provided for under the exhibits of this Agreement.

  • Violence Policies and Procedures The Employer agrees to have in place explicit policies and procedures to deal with violence. The policy will address the prevention of violence, the management of violent situations, provision of legal counsel and support to employees who have faced violence. The policies and procedures shall be part of the employee's health and safety policy and written copies shall be provided to each employee. Prior to implementing any changes to these policies, the employer agrees to consult with the Association.

  • Program Requirements Provided At No Charge to the Judicial Council A. The Contractor shall provide the following items during the Program at no charge to the Judicial Council:

  • Special Rules Regarding Related Entities and Branches That Are Nonparticipating Financial Institutions If a Finnish Financial Institution, that otherwise meets the requirements described in paragraph 1 of this Article or is described in paragraph 3 or 4 of this Article, has a Related Entity or branch that operates in a jurisdiction that prevents such Related Entity or branch from fulfilling the requirements of a participating FFI or deemed-compliant FFI for purposes of section 1471 of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code or has a Related Entity or branch that is treated as a Nonparticipating Financial Institution solely due to the expiration of the transitional rule for limited FFIs and limited branches under relevant U.S. Treasury Regulations, such Finnish Financial Institution shall continue to be in compliance with the terms of this Agreement and shall continue to be treated as a deemed- compliant FFI or exempt beneficial owner, as appropriate, for purposes of section 1471 of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code, provided that:

  • Limited Waiver of Sovereign Immunity Ex Contractu Contractor acknowledges and agrees that Owner is an agency or instrumentality of the State of Georgia, and as such is entitled to the protection of sovereign immunity. As set forth in Article I, Section II, Paragraph IX of the 1983 Georgia Constitution, sovereign immunity is waived “as to any action ex contractu for the breach of any written contract.” Contractor specifically acknowledges the constitutional and contractual requirements that written changes, modifications, and waivers to this Contract must be specifically executed by the Owner as set forth in the Contract Documents. Accordingly, Contractor specifically acknowledges the constitutional prohibitions against claims against Owner based solely upon oral statement, course of conduct, customs of the trade, quasi-contract, quantum meruit, or O.C.G.A § 13-4-4 (mutual departure from contract terms).

  • Service Order Process Requirements 53.5.1 CenturyLink will accept orders for As-Is Transfer of services from CenturyLink to CLEC where CenturyLink is the End User’s current local exchange carrier.

  • Rules of Grievance Processing 1. Time limits of any stage of the grievance procedure may be extended by written mutual agreement of the parties at that step.

  • Compliance with Contractor Employee Jury Service Ordinance Contractor shall comply with the County Ordinance with respect to provision of jury duty pay to employees and have and adhere to a written policy that provides that its employees shall receive from the Contractor, on an annual basis, no less than five days of regular pay for actual jury service in San Mateo County. The policy may provide that employees deposit any fees received for such jury service with the Contractor or that the Contractor deduct from the employees’ regular pay the fees received for jury service.
