Common use of Twelve Month Vacation Scheduling Clause in Contracts

Twelve Month Vacation Scheduling. Vacations shall be scheduled and granted on the basis of seniority during the months of June, July, August or other non-student days authorized by the District. Vacations for employees not requiring a substitute may be scheduled at a time acceptable to the District and the employee. In the event that an employee is not able to use vacation because of a conflict with the District work schedule, an employee will be allowed to carry over in excess of the prescribed 30 days, but must use them in the subsequent contract year.
