Regular School Year Employees Special Provisions. 8.6.1 Emergency Modification of School Start Time/Closure: When an employee reports to work not having been notified per the District procedure, that employee shall receive a minimum of two (2) hours, or the equivalent of the employee's normal work shift, whichever is less, will be paid at the employee's appropriate salary rate. Employees must be willing to remain at work for the two hours, or the equivalent to their normal work shift, whichever is less, and perform duties as assigned by the site supervisor or designee; or the employee is released by the site supervisor or designee.

  • Employees - Special Eligibility The following employees are also eligible to participate in the Group Insurance Program:

  • School Year Employment If an employee is employed on the basis of a school year and such employment contemplates absences from the State payroll during the summer months or vacation periods scheduled by the Appointing Authority which occur during the regular school year, the employee shall nonetheless remain eligible for an Employer Contribution, provided that the employee appears on the regular payroll for at least one (1) working day in the payroll period immediately preceding such absences.
